I don't mind eating it, but having the whole thing in my freezer for weeks is a little much!

The town Tyler hunts peasants in does a contest at the end of the season. You turn in 5 of your longest tail feathers and if you have the longest you win a new shot gun, 2nd place gets a puppy, and 3rd place is a surprise. The thing is when they turn the feathers in they still have to be attached to the bird! So I get to say hello to these beauties when I open the freezer for a little while longer!

I am one lucky girl! ;)

My Fun/Terrible Weekend........

Let's start with the FUN shall we! :)
Friday night Tyler and I went to the Cache county Rodeo and Fair. It was so much fun. And just so good to hang out with my hubby!
On Saturday I was able to go down to Lehi and meet mine and Tyler newest niece, she is so precious, new babies are always so fun to see!
And then that night Tyler's mom, sister, and sister-in-law, and I were able to go up to Sundance and see the play "The Sound of Music"! I was so fun:) The only thing missing was my other sister-in-law Laura(because of said new baby) we will have to catch her next time! It ended up pouring rain for awhile, but was timed perfectly to go along with the thunderstorm scene in Maria's bedroom where they sing the "Rain Drops on Roses" song and luckily we had brought some extra jackets and blankets to keep us dry and warm. All in all it was a beautiful night!

Now for the TERRIBLE...........
We ended up not getting back into Lehi from Sundance until after midnight Saturday so I stayed the night at Tyler's parent house and got up early and left Lehi around 7:15 so I could make it back to Logan and get ready in time to make it to Young Women's since we have 9:00 church. Tyler was going to go to church and I would just meet him up when I got there. So I headed out and the drive was normal until I was almost home.......... I was driving north on Logan main street and coming up on the intersection at 700 N., right by angie's and a&w's, I had a green light and there was a car in the turning lane on the other side of the intersection. Well I don't know if he was just not paying attention or what, but as soon as I was starting into the intersection he decide he was going to turn. I tried to swerve to get out of the way, but was to late and we collided. Scariest moment of my life. The next thing i knew the air bags where going off and I couldn't breath. I was so shaken up. My driver side window had broke so I pushed that out of the way so I could stick my head out the window so I wasn't just breathing in the fumes from the air bags(nastiest smell in the whole world, by the way). I couldn't get my door to open and started freaking out a little when a nice guy who had come up to the scene right after jump out of his car to help me. He couldn't get my door open either so he ran around to the passenger door and opened it and I had to climb out that side. In the mean time a lady had pulled up and jumped out to help and led me over to the curb and made sure I new my name and if I knew where I was at and all that kinda stuff. There are some nice people out there playing the role of guardian angels I tell you. How grateful I was for those loving faces. The same lady let me borrow her phone (I was shaking so bad I couldn't dial so she ended up dialing Tyler's number for me), by some miracle Tyler was just about to step into the chapel at church and had forgotten to turn his phone off and even though he didn't know the number answered it because it had startled him. Anyway when Tyler got to the scene the emt's were already checkin me out and suggested that I go to the hospital just to make sure everything was ok (my neck was so sore and my knee killed) so they loaded me up in the ambulance. After some xrays and being checked out by the doctor everything looked ok. Needless to say I am super stiff and sore, with lots of bumps and bruises, but I am so grateful it wasn't worse. I had been going almost 40 mph when we hit so I really was lucky to get away with just minor stuff.
The man who hit me I felt so bad for. He was 83 years old and looked so disoriented and had blood all over his face. Lucky he was not majorly hurt either. Both vehicles were totaled. My poor car:( I loved having my dependable Honda. It has been such a good car. November would have been 5 years and we were planning on keeping it until it was so old it wouldn't go any more.

I am so not looking forward to car shopping:(

Summer Lovin'

Tyler and I have had quite the summer........ between the internship in Lehi, Scout camp outs,

Girls Camp, Trek, Family things, and other countless going ons we have been all over the place! Here are some pictures to show some of the many adventures!

Girls Camp was a blast! I have loved getting to know all of these amazing YW:)

Just so you know.... when you go to your grandparents cabin for the 24th of July weekend, DON"T leave your unopened pop cans in the window!!! You will end up with a big STICKY MESS! Who knew;)

Trek was so amazing! Our Stake went to Martin's Cove and Rocky Ridge Aug 1st-4th. How those handcart pioneers did what they did in many feet of snow is a Miracle. If you have not been up to the area, you should. There is such an amazing spirit to be felt. Tyler and I were a Ma and Pa and loved getting to know the 6 kids we called family for the 4 days we were together!

The Saturday after we got back from Trek Tyler and I headed down to Mantua Reservoir for a little fishing! Ok, ok, so Tyler fished and I kicked back to read a good book and get some sun ;) He ended up catching the tiniest fish and got a little frustrated, but it was fun just to get out and spend some time together.

At least he improved in the size a tiny bit! Right;) Haha

FE Exam & Ethan's Graduation!!!

Back in April Tyler took the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam. This Exam is an eight hour test with a study book that is huge. This was the second time that he has taken it. The first time was back in November before he had take some of the engineering courses and he just want to take the test so he knew what to expect. He studied, studied, studied for months this time in hopes he wouldn't have to take it again. Well a couple weeks ago he got the results in the mail and he PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, yes, yes, he was so giddy with excitement because he never has to study for it again! Way to go babe, I am so proud of you!

This last weekend was also Lehi High Schools graduation and so I had the opportunity to go and watch my little brother Ethan graduate from high school:) Way to go Ethan!

This weather we have had the last little while is AMAZING! It actually feels like spring and I love it! Today we were able to pull the four-wheeler out and take a little ride and we went hiking as well. We packed a few Old Grist Mill sandwiches some water and had a little picnic while up in the mountains. What a perfect afternoon :)

As for all else we are doing well. Tyler just finished another semester of school which he is super excited to be done with. He now is down to just one more year of school!!! YEAH! Funny how it seemed like it would take forever to get to the last year of school, but now that it is here I wonder how it snuck up on me so fast! Tyler got an internship for the summer which is going to be a great learning experience for him. It is at a place in Lehi called Civil Science. He will be doing a lot a paper work it sounds like, which is the pits, but he is excited anyways since it is helping him move closer to his goal of becoming a civil engineer. The only downer is it is in Lehi so he will be living down there and only coming home to Logan for the weekends and every other Tuesday possibly for Young Mens. This is going to take a lot of getting used to. I am glad it is just for the summer though and I know it will go by super fast. I am so proud of Tyler and all his hard work! He is such a trooper:) All in all we have been very blessed and have so much to look forward to! Have a great Spring everyone!

Cinnamon Roll/Twist Recipe

2 pkg quick rise yeast(or 2 Tbs) dissolved into 1/2 cup lukewarm water
2 cups milk scalded
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
2 eggs
6 cups flour (add more if needed)

When milk is lukewarm, add shortening, sugar, eggs, yeast, and 3 cups flour. Beat well with mixer. Add the rest of the flour one cup at a time until dough is soft but not sticky. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size. Roll dough to aprox. 25 x 22 inches spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Fold in half lengthwise. Cut into strips 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide, twist, and turn starting in the center to form a roll. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375' for 15 to 20 mins or until golden brown. Spread Icing over top right while hot. Serve warm.

Icing :
Mix 1 pound powdered sugar, 1/2 cube butter, 1 tsp vanilla, add milk to consistency to spread.

So my neighbor here in Logan goes to a recipe club once a month and she is always bring me new recipes to try out. Some look amazing, some look just alright, and some I would never try in a million years! But a couple of months ago she brought me over a recipe for cinnamon rolls/twists that looked so yummy so I made them on Sunday and they did not disappoint! They were so amazing and I think they are my new favorite!

I am just so sick of this yucky weather, blah....... ya ya ya, I know we live in Utah and we should just expect something like this, believe me I know I have lived in Utah my whole life, but it still doesn't make me like the ongoing winter. Just when it seems like we are taking a step into spring we take 2 steps back. The dentist I work for is going to Texas for a dental meeting next week and I have been begging him to let me stow away, but I don't think I will be seeing the bright Texas sun anytime in the near future..... dang it! On those days that we see the sun I have been trying to take full advantage. A couple of weeks ago we were down in Lehi and it turned out to be a beautiful day so Me, my sister, and my little cousin went a jumpin' :) I love jumping on the tramp!!!

Tyler Turns 26!!!

My sweet husband turned 26 back on the 6th of March! Happy Birthday Babe! ( I know this is so so late). Mom and Dad Faddis came up the day before and we went to the Temple and had dinner at Chilies which was as yummy as ever:) I seem to always feel overly stuffed when we go to that place!!! Mom and Dad stayed the night and came to church with us and stayed for Tyler's birthday dinner that consisted of ham, cheesy potatoes, peaches, and pao de queijo(brazilian cheese roll) it turned out so yummy! It was my first time making the pao de queijo and it was so surprisingly easy, quick and good. It looked and tasted just like the ones you would get at Tucanos or Rodizio Grill! Then instead of a cake, I just made a big Chocolate Chip cookie(tyler's favorite) with blue frosting and a couple candles! Hope you had a fantastic Birthday, love! Here's to another wonderful year!

My Birthday

I had a wonderful relaxing birthday this year!!! Tyler had school all day and since it ended up on a Wednesday I didn't have work, so i got to sleep in and go to the gym and then just be lazy and do whatever I wanted. When Tyler got home he took me here....

for dinner. It was so yummy!

Then he took me to Charlie's to get my most favorite mint oreo shake:)

Then we went to the Red Box and he told me to pick whatever movie I wanted...... So when I picked this one.....

He winced, but just said "whatever you want dear" hehehe ;)
For those of you who know Tyler this is a pretty big feat. He even stayed awake the whole movie and only made one or two sarcastic comments.... This has given me hope!!!!

So Tyler is becoming quit the Domestic Diva and making all sorts of things! Ha ha! He would kill me if he knew I just called him a Domestic Diva! Anyway he has been making up all sorts of wonderful stuff. He made hashbrowns from scratch, they were soooo good:), also he made brownies from scratch (he was so proud of himself;) ), he made homemade lemonade mmmmmm, he also has been making a ton of salsa!!!! What a MAN!

Bow Hunt 2010

Sorry about the 4 posts right in a row, better late than never i guess. It is so hard to keep up with everything that has been going on so you just get it all at once.

Tyler this past weekend went out on the Bow hunt. Since he is not in the dedicated hunter program this year he decided to just do the Bow hunt and the elk hunt since he wont have a whole lot of time for the rifle and mussel loader hunts when school starts. So the pressure was on to get something with the bow since he wasn't doing the others and he came through on the opening day with this nice little 4 point buck! Ethan and Tyrell were there to help him track one down as fast as possible so he could come home to me a little sooner! Thanks guys I really am grateful to have my husband home earlier than expected (even if it does include another ticket)!

Firewood!

Tyler, Me, Ethan, and my G-ma and G-pa Fox headed up to the cabin a couple weekends ago to get firewood for the winter. Oh and Bella came too we can't forget her, she just loves the cabin! Tyler was kinda dreading the trip because he know how sore he was going to be after chopping all that firewood, but grandpa actually borrowed a log splitter from a neighbor up there and holy cow did that make things so much easier. So not only was Tyler not sore, we got so much more wood. We filled the entire 2 horse trailer up and the back of grandpa's truck was overflowing. Bella sure had a good time too, by the end of the trip she was a pro at jumping in the pond and fetching the sticks we would throw in. I felt so bad though because on the last day bella and my brother Ethan were down in the meadow and she spotted a little cotton tail bunny and pounced on it and killed it! It was so sad, but kind of funny at the same time because she was so proud of herself. Oh well.

We went to Bear Lake the first Saturday of August and it was a blast! We had so much fun hanging out on the beach with our families. All of Tyler's family was able to make it except Ryan and Emily and my little sister and 2 brothers were able to come as well. Our neighbor let us borrow his boat so we did a little skiing, tubing, and knee boarding as well (Oh how I love that Knee board)! It was a great relaxing day!

At the end of July while Tylers sister Kim and her husband Justin went on the trek with their stake I was able to watch their kids; Cole, Raegan, and Brooklyn. They are such great kids and it was so fun to play around with them. I miss getting to see them as often as we used to since we are in Logan now. We went to the park and had pizza, we went swimming, and Raegan and her neighbor friends put on a little talent show for me and their mom(they were so cute!). Sorry everyone for the blog overload, but July has been such a crazy busy month, so much to blog about! Both Tyler and me feel like we have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off! Oh well, busy is better than doing nothing (although nothing is sounding pretty tempting at the moment)! We started July off with the 4th and Logan throws a pretty good celebration! Logan did there fireworks Friday the 2nd and we just happen to have a straight on shot of the stadium from our back porch (Amazing!) so we invited some friends over for a BBQ and had so much fun! Saturday we went with Tyrell and Whitney to the Car Show and Cruisin'. Cruisin' is kind of like a parade, but with the cars from the show. Tons of people set their chairs up and down down-town main street and watch all the cool cars just cruise and show off. It was pretty fun! Monday we went again with Tyrell and Whitney on a hike up to the wind caves in Logan canyon, I LOVE HIKING! What a Blast!

Then we headed to Youth Conference July 8-10. YC turned out so good, but I can honestly say I would be ok if we never had to plan one again! The kids had a great time. We took them to Star Valley, Wyoming to do some service at a camp they are building for Down Syndrome kids and their families and all the kids just pitched right in to get things done. We did the service part on both Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday we took them rafting down the snake river. This was both me and Tylers second time going rafting and it was a blast. The river was freezing, but it was worth it!

We had this fun game of dodge ball in one of the fields! I had got those try-on nylons from payless and filled them with flour to use as balls for the game. It was so funny to watch those kids get pelted with flour!

The next weekend we had the opportunity to go do baptisms for the dead at the Mt. Timp. temple for relatives on Tyler's moms side of the family. Kim, Tyler's sister, has been hard at work getting a ton of genealogy done so that was a wonderful experience to be apart of. Thanks Kim for all your hard work! Then comes the 24th of July! We always have our Fox Family(my moms side) reunion at the cabin this weekend. It is always a hoot! This year we did minute to win it games and it was hilarious! We ended up having all, but three family members there which is quite a feat since my grandparents had 10 children and then there is all the grandchildren and great- grandchildren, altogether there was 77 of us there. WOW! Here are some of the minute to win it games:

On top of all this Tyler is in a humanities class that has required him to go to 12 art event(most of them are plays) in 1 and 1/2 months so he has been trying to squeeze those in too. Luckily he has a friend in the class with him so we don't have to pay for both of us to go (can you see tyler going to a play by himself!), but I have been able to go to 2 with him, Guys and Dolls and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, they were so fun. His last event is tomorrow and it is an Opera, haha, I wish I could go just to watch his face during it!
So as you can see we have been in a whirlwind this month, but it all has been such a blast to be apart of!

I seen this super cool cake on a blog and thought I would try it out for the 4th of July. Mine really did not turn out as cute as the one on the blog, but still pretty cool! It is fun red, white, and blue on the outside and when you cut into it.....Surprise it is an American Flag!!! And it was so moist because I followed some extra tips that the lady who made it gave. SO YUMMY! It was so fun to make because i haven't ever made a layered cake before and this has got me wanting to do it more often!

A big thanks to Tyson for providing the house boat and ski boats. We had so much fun tubing, skiing, knee boarding, and just relaxing and hanging out. Here are just a few pics....

So for young womens last night we had a fire in our backyard! It was a blast! Some of the girls brought there old homework since school is ending and they had so much fun burning it! We had smores with reeses peanut butter cups instead of chocolate (so yummy by the way) and some of the girls roasted starbursts. What a great way to kick off the summer for YW!

So Tyler has finished one more semester of school!!! Yeah!!! Way to go Tyler!!! Now just 5 more semesters to go.

He will be taking 3 classes this summer and working part time laying carpet. He is such a trooper!
Anyway to celebrate the ending of another semester we had a couple of the guys he goes to school with, that have become good friends, come over with their wives to our house for a BBQ on Monday night. It was so much fun!!! We had burgers and played lots of games and I think that all the guys are just relieved they didn't have to do homework afterwords! left to right: Brady and Brittany, Tyler, Whitney and Tyrell.

Is spring time really here or is it just a fake out?! I am so excited it is warming up so that we can be outside more! Our next door neighbor , who is the nicest lady in the whole world, owns the field behind the house we are renting and is going to let us grow a garden in the corner of it. I am so grateful to her because this means less money spent at the grocery store and nice fresh vegetable to eat. Because it is all hard pasture dirt and grass we were going to pay one of the farmers down the street to come and brake it up for us since it is going to be 30 feet by 30 feet, but he was going to charge us 50 bucks and Tyler didn't want to pay that much so this last Saturday he spentthe whole day outside digging it up with his 2 hands and a shovel. He was so pooped by the end of the day! I am so glad that a married a guy who knows the meaning of hard work and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and knows how to do things! Way to go Love, thanks for all you do!

On a side note, me and tyler are in charge of our wards youth conference this year and we have decided that we will be going to star valley wyoming to do some service. The kids and leaders will be helping build a camp for down syndrome kids called "Camp Many Stars". The camp is being built by volenteer work alone and I think it will be a great opertunity for the kids to help. Anyway we have been trying to think up some activities to do while we have down time up there so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions let us know any little bit will help! I hope you all are doing well and wish you a GREAT spring!

Great Grandma Curtis

Wow what a crazy month it has been. My Great Grandma Curtis passed away last Sunday. My other Great Grandma passed away just 2 1/2 weeks ago what a sad/happy month. Sad because we have lost 2 very special women and happy because they are out of pain and with loved ones on the other side. My Grandma Curtis was one fantastic lady. If you needed to know how to do anything she could tell you how to do it. Her home was surrounded by roses and she would always have you cut one off the bush to take home every time you would visit. Grandma was also well know for her good bags she would make you take home too, she seemed to always have gummy bears and the rectangle wafer cookies in her pantry. We will miss you grandma and can't wait to see you again.

Alice Bowles Curtis

Alice Bowles Curtis 1920 ~ 2010 Alice Bowles Curtis, age 90, passed away March 28, 2010.Alice was born Jan. 14, 1920 to Samuel Clifford and Sarah Elizabeth Stotter Campbell Bowles in Milo, Idaho. Alice was greatly loved by her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She served in many different capacities in the LDS Church. With her companion of 72 years, they served a mission in England and one in Western Samoa. Her hands were always busy crocheting; tying quilts (with the help of her dear husband); canning fruit and tending her roses. She was preceded in death by a son Steven C. Curtis, her parents, four sisters and one brother. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Lehi 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 1049 N. 300 W. where family and friends may call for visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Graveside service at the Ucon, Idaho Cemetery, Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.

So my San Francisco trip was a blast! Well maybe I should say once we got there is was a blast, the bus ride there and back, not so much fun, I do not suggest it! Wicked was amazing!!!! If you ever have the chance to see it, GO! Union Square with all the shops was really fun so see because every store was just so HUGE. We also went to Ghirardelli Square which was super yummy, lots of chocolate and we had a hot fudge sundae, mmmmmm! My cousin Seth and his family live in san francisco and were able to meet us and walk around fisherman's warf and pier 39 with us, so that was fun to see them and hang out for a little while. Their son Tommy is so adorable I just want to eat him up! Anyway here are a few pics of the fun trip......

Great Grandma Fox

My Great Grandma Fox passed away this Tuesday from a heart attack at 88 years old. She was the sweetest lady that you ever knew. Although it is sad for us, I know she is so happy to be with her sweet husband again who she has been without for almost 20 years. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of Heavenly Fathers plan and I know that she will be right there to greet me when it is my time to leave this earth. I can hear her now, smiling sweetly at me, saying, "Oh Happy Day!" (her favorite phrase). We will miss you grandma and we can't wait to see you again.

Alta Faye Dickerson Fox 1921 ~ 2010 Alta Faye Fox, age 88, of Lehi, died March 9, 2010. She was born July 16, 1921 in Lehi, Utah, to Ernest Rodney and Goldie Olivia Clark Dickerson. Faye married Eldred Winn Fox Sept. 18, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. Faye served faithfully in the LDS Church in many capacities. She left a great posterity, which she loved dearly. Survived by her children Eldred Kaye (Lona) Fox; Jeanine (Quinn) Erickson, daughter-in-law Christine Fox Finlinson, Eldwinn (Janice) Fox, Barbara (Kevin) Roseman, Kenneth (Jill) Fox, 35 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren, and a sister Doris (Joe) Southworth. Preceded in death by her husband, Eldred and a son Merrill C. Fox. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the East Bench LDS Chapel, 1630 E. 900 N., Lehi. Yesterday was my 23rd Birthday!!! Below is a picture of the brownies Tyler got for the occasion and yes those are trick candles! We almost burnt the house down with them! Tyler didn't realize that you are not supposed to put them so close together! It took us a good 2 min to finally get them all out! It was hilarious, we were both so light head after trying to blow them out, when we finally would think they were done one would start up again and then set the other ones off around it so we would have to start blowing again!!! It was so funny! So my Birthday present this year is that I get to go to San Francisco with the girls on my mom's side to go see Wicked!! I am so excited! We are going next thursday to sunday and are going to have a blast! I feel really bad though because it means I will miss Tyler's 25th birthday on Friday:( sorry babe I will try to make it up to you i promise. Tyler is such a sweet heart and has been so nice about me going. Thanks babe, you are the best!!!

It was our 3rd anniversary yesterday! Yeah! Tyler surprised me at work with a beautiful flower arrangement, it is gorgeous! I am so lucky to have him in my life. So our good friends the Broadhead's (Cody and Ashli) came up to visit us this weekend! It is always nice to get together with them! We went to dinner, up to hardware ranch, and bowling! It was my first time going to hardware ranch and I don't know what I was expecting, but there just wasn't as many elk as I thought there would be and it was SUPER FREEZING cold with the wind blowin. The sleigh driver said they had over 400 elk in there, but because the fields are so big it look like maybe 250 to me. I guess it is good to get out and see new thing though(even if you can't feel your hands because you forgot gloves!). Here are some pics of the ranch...........

Christmas is always a great time of year! We had a great time spending the holiday with family and just relaxin! We had a great Christmas eve party at Tyler's parents house(sorry the pics are on my old camera and I haven't downloaded them yet), then slept over at my parent house and did Christmas morning there, and the day after Christmas we went sledding with Tyler's family and had a blast! So I came home for lunch on Monday and Tyler was so super excited about something!(I should have known from the beginning what it was, he only gets that excited about one thing!) I took notice of the camera and binoculars on the kitchen table and he proceeded to tell me there are 3 bucks in our neighbors backyard! He was practically jumping up and down! Of course he had been watching them for a couple of hours! He even snuck outside around our neighbors house to take pics of them. I had to practically hold him back from getting his bow (as we have already had to pay one ticket this hunting season)! They stayed in the backyard pretty much all day. Yay, the 1st big snow! So it has been snowing all day( with the exception of maybe 1/2 an hour) up here in Logan. Tyler whipped out the 4-wheeler to plow our driveway and he was so excited because this is the first time he has used the "new-to-him" plow! Bella is so funny and loves to run with her mouth to the ground and see how much snow she can gather in there! It was so fun to play outside in the beautiful white stuff! Thankgiving!!!

Well, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! Sorry about the no pictures thing once again the camera was left on the table at home! Maybe some day I will be better at remembering! We had Thanksgiving dinner at my Uncle Brad and Aunt Cathy's house this year with my dads side of the family and had a wonderful time! After dinner we got a group of my cousins, aunts and uncles together and played some NERTS(not sure how to spell it). This is one of my all time favorite games even though I lose a lot it is just to fast and fun! On Saturday my Moms side of the family got together for our Christmas party at Classic Skating! It was so fun to skate around and dance to the music! Those 4 wheeled skates are a blast! After the party I was able to go to Lunch at the Olive Garden with to of my favorite people, Kari and Abbee! Kari (my cousin), Abbee, and I have had some pretty good time together! It was good to sit down and have some friends time! They are trying to talk me into doing a triathalon with them in next May. I guess I better get my butt in gear! We had such a great week hangin with family and friends and can't wait till we can come down from Logan to visit again! Hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving too!

So this weekend has been kinda crazy! We had all of Tyler's family come up and the boys went pheasant hunting and the girls stayed at our house and just hung out! It was fun to be able to see everyone and spend time with them. The boys had a great time and came home with 7 0r 8 pheasants. Pour Bella hurt her foot while she was out hunting and today she won't even step on :( We think she must have stepped on some barbwire that was out in one of the fields they were hunting in because she has a sore on the pad of her foot that was bleeding. Poor Bella. Anyway we had a great time. Then today, Sunday, we had to speak in sacrament meeting which had me all sorts of nervous, I had to teach the lesson in Young Womens, Tyler was set apart to be a councelor in the Elders Quoram, and now I have to get a whole bunch of stuff ready for Young Womens in Excellence for Tuesday night. LIFE

So life is pretty good right now. We went for a little walk today on the pathway alongside the canal by our house, I love Sunday strolls! Tyler is doing pretty good in school although he has had some pretty tough classes which include: Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, Chemistry, Physics, Statics, and Surveying. He is such a trooper and hardly ever complains even though he is at school all day and then does homework until 12:30 about every night. He is such a hard worker and I am so proud of him! How did I ever get so lucky! As for me I am still working as Dental Assistant at an Endodontic office here in Logan which I am liking. The Endodontist I work for is such a good guy and always keeps the conversation lively while we are working. I thought at first that it would get boring doing root canals all day everyday, but it really hasn't been bad and normally the days go by pretty quickly.

We are loving it up here in Logan the community is so nice and the ward we are in has been very welcoming. I am now in the Young Womens as the beehive advisor and Tyler was just called today to be a Sunday School teacher for the older kids. The weather has been alot like it has been in utah county maybe just a little cooler. On Tuesday it snowed almost all day and we ended up with about 2 inches of snow which melted quickly. I am a little nervous as the weather gets more into winter, but I am sure we will survive. Well that is what is up with us and we hope everything is going well for everyone of you!

About 3 weekends ago we went to the Cache Valley Demolition Derby!!! It was so fun!! We had never been to one before and didn't really know what to expect, but we were not disappointed! It was all trucks and SUVs and some of them were so trashed by the end of the derby I was so surprised that they were still going it was amazing! I think we will be making it a tradition while here in Logan to go to the Demo Derby every year!

While at the Demo Derby we actually won 2 free passes to the green canyon corn maze here in Logan! So we decided to go use them last night and had a blast! On Friday night they have it haunted so it made it even more interesting!

So Bella is getting way to big. We got her when she was 1 1/2 months old and she is now only 3 1/2 and has pretty much doubled in size. When we got her we had to make an extra hole in her collar and now she is on the very last hole already! Her paws are huge! I wish she could have stayed little her whole life she was so cute! Well I guess she is still cute, just not as cuddly. She is getting pretty good at playing fetch with Tyler and he gets so excited when she puts her nose to the ground to sniff something out! She is getting pretty smart, but still has a hard time paying attention and minding. Here is a picture of her when we first got her so you can see how she has grown:

So I thought I would post some pics of the house we are renting in Logan since most have not seen it. It really is a nice little place(I shouldn't say little, it is much bigger than what we have had in the past!). It was built in the 70's and you can definitely tell by the light fixtures and the walls. I think we will like it here a lot! Sorry about the pics being so dark my camera is not the best.

LOGAN!

So all went well with the move! Thank heavens! We brought the rest of our stuff up on Saturday and tried to get it all unpacked that night so we didn't have to do it on Sunday, but we ended up doing a little on Sunday anyway, but all boxes are unpacked except some hunting stuff. Yeah! We tried to find our ward on sunday that we are supposed to be in, but were misinformed and went to the wrong one. Oh well, church is church whatever ward you go to right! Tyler went back down to Lehi Sunday night so he can go bow hunting this week and won't be back until Thursday night. I must say I had a melt down sunday after he left. I cried for like an hour because my husband just left me in a strange place with no family around and I am in an older house that likes to make wierd sounds! He felt bad leaving me when he saw my tears and so he said he would stay home if I wanted him to, but how bad would have I felt if he did stay home, he might not be able to go hunting very often when school starts. So I told him I would be a big girl and besides I need to find a job this week and he left. That night was not a good night at all. Oh well I got over it and I am getting used to my surroundings now. About the job thing! It is going ok, there are not a whole lot of dentists hiring right now, but I do have an interview at an oral surgines office tomorrow hopefully that will work out because I would love to work in that area. Well sorry for the length, but now you are updated on our life in Logan. Hope everything is going well for you all back home!

So the BIG moving day is coming up! We are excited for this next step in our lives and hope that it will all go smoothly(hence the wish us luck). I have the rest of the week off from work so it will be filled with packing boxes, deep cleaning the house, changing our address...............and all that stuff. I am truely not looking forward to the packing and unpacking part. I wish you could just blink and everything would just magically switch houses and be in the right spot! That would be awesome! So we are moving most of our stuff this weekend and just leaving the essentials because we have to finish up work next week and then will finish up the move on the 15th. I am sure it will go smooth, I am just nervous about the whole thing. Anyway wish us luck and we will keep you posted.

So it has been kinda nerve racking thinking about moving to Logan in a month or so. But things are going pretty well with it. We found a house to live in for a very very good price thanks to Tyler's aunt Mary. We are so grateful to her for hooking us up with the people who own it. Thanks Mary we owe you so much! So since we got a house with a yard Tyler asked if we could put a dog run up in the corner of the backyard and to our suprize he said YES! So gone are the days of Tyler wishing he can have a dog! It worked out perfectly because Neil's(a guy tyler works with)Golden Retriever male and Wymer Female just had puppies(hunting dogs of course what else goes through my adorable husbands head!). They are so adorable! So Tyler has finally got his hunting dog! She is all black and the cutest thing you have ever laid eyes on. My only wish is that she will stay a puppy forever! So our new little additions name is going to Bella and it fits her so well. I will have to post pics of her later because of course I have forgot my camera everytime I see her. She is staying at Tylers parents home for this first little while till we get up to logan since we can't have a pet where we are now. So now we have a place to live, a puppy in the backyard, and now all that is left is finding a job to pay for all this up in Logan which I am still working on, but I know something will work out(cross your fingers)! Anyway that is us right now and I hope that everything is going well in all of your lives too!

California Trip

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this, it has been like 2 weeks since we have been back, oh well. So this trip was a much needed get away for both me and Tyler, it was so nice. We went with Lacey's family and had a blast. We hit up Disneyland and California Adventure the first 2 days, we then drove to Oceanside where we spent the 2nd half of the trip, drove to San Diego and hit Sea World, Seaport Village, and Coranodo Island. The Ocean was so freezing, but it was fun just getting in. Here are some pics for you:

So I am so excited for SPRING! I love the cool but not to cool weather. The flowers, the green grass, the fresh smell outside, and so so much more....... My parents invited us over for a hot dog roasting party on wednesday night and it was so fun to have a fire out back and enjoy each others company. Of course I don't have any pics because i forgot my camera again.

Another semester is over for Tyler and he is so excited because he doesn't have to take any summer classes this year. Now he can actually dedicate time to start training Peanut and get Rio back into shape(our 2 horses), which he is very excited to do. No more going to bed after 12 because of home work(at least until next semester). Which reminds me that I haven't said that we are moving to Logan yet. Yup, you read it right, we will be going up to Utah State University for Tylers schooling the next couple of years, GO AGGIES! We will be leaving in August. It is going to be hard, but we are excited for the adventure it will be. I am kinda stressing about finding a place to live and finding a dental assisting job up there, but I know everything will work out! Wish us luck!

It took most of the day(8:30am to 5:30pm which included planning and grocery shopping), but it was so worth it to have ready made dinners to pull out of the freezer on a busy day. I am so lucky to have someone like Tyler, he is so sweet! Even in his busy days that are filled with full time work, school at night, and his insane programming class homework, he finds time to make the cutest things for me. For Valentines Day he made me the cutest family sign by using the one his mom bought from the quilted bear for $40 as a guide(and it only cost him $4 dollars to make). And then for my birthday yesterday he gave me a couple jewlery stands he made out of iron. He is such a Handyman! Oh! He also made our log bed by himself using logs we went and cut down at my grandparents cabin. Here are some pictures of his handywork:

2nd Anniversary

So yesterday the 26th of January was me and tylers 2nd wedding anniversay! I can't believe it has been 2 years! It seems like he has always been in my life, it is weird to look back on some parts of my life and not see him in it. I love the guy so much! Here are a couple of pictures from our wedding day........

To celebrate we spent the weekend in St. George! We stayed in the condos that my parents have a time share in, thanks mom and dad for letting us stay, it was much better than a hotel room! Friday night was a super big step for tyler because I got him to watch The Little Mermaid with me and he actually liked it, we fell asleep to it and when we woke up saturday the first thing he wanted to do was finish the movie!!! It was so funny because if you know tyler, it is not often you find him watching movies like that! Saturday we just kind of hung out all morning long then went for a little hike in snow canyon! It was good to only have to wear a light jacket, it was like 60' the whole time there! That night we went to the St. George temple and did a session. The temple was gorgeous and it was fun to learn some of the history from one of the temple workers. It always amazes me how calm and peaceful it is in the temple, I love being a part of it! It was a very relaxing trip and I am so greatful to have some time with tyler to just focus on us. Thanks for loving me and always being there for me babe, I Love So Much!

So we went to Las Vegas this weekend for a quick get away. It was very relaxing and just fun to get away from real life for a few days. We actually went down to go to the NFR(National Finals Rodeo), but didn't end up going because the tickets were all sold out unless we wanted to pay a scalper $250 a ticket, No Thanks! That is ok, we knew we were taking a chance going with out getting tickets before hand. So we drove down on Friday after working a half day, we got there around dinner time so we checked in at the stratosphere, ate and then we went to the beillogio(forgot how to spell it) to watch the water dancing to christmas music(it was beautiful) and also went inside to see their christmas flower room which smelt so good and looked amazing. On saturday we spent the day at cowboy christmas and country christmas where tyler got a new belt buckle and new pants(he is so spoiled!). We also had to go to what tyler would call "The Vegas Mall" which is the Bass Pro Shop(hunting, fishing, guns, stuffed animals), Tyler was in heaven! I was sad to come home on sunday. All in all it was a much needed rest from every day life!

Thanksgiving and the Tree

So sorry I haven't wrote for a while, things have been kinda busy. So thanksgiving was really good this year, as it is every year. We went to Tylers mom and dads this year and had lots of yummy food, including candied yams(my favorite). We watched Christmas Vacation(a tradition), ate pie, and then played the wii. What a great day! Thanks family for the good time!

On saturday we went with Cameron, Laura, and Kaycee up to the mountains to cut a Christmas tree down. We had to hike around for a little while to find the write one, but we finally found it! Thanks Cam and Lala for taking us!

Tylers Deer

So Tyler finally got his deer this weekend! He was sooo excited! He went with Cameron and Alan this weekend up west canyon with his horse Rio.

The deer was shot at around 11:00am and they had one of Alans mules pack it down off of the mountain which was much better than using themselves to pack it.

They kept hunting to see if they could find any deer for cameron and alan, but they didn't get anything else. They got back at about 7:00pm and we got a pizza for everyone and Cameron, Alan, and Ryan helped take the meat off the bone, clean it, and package it.

DISNEYLAND!

What a Blast! So we went to disneyland with Tylers family this last weekend and had so much fun! Our adventures included Disneyland park it self, California Adventures, and the Newport Beach all packed into 3 days. We left on Friday with Tylers brother Ryan and his wife Emily for our long 10 hour drive to California. It was sooooooooooooooo long! We got there at about 9:30 there time, got food, and went right to bed( which was very hard to do in a double bed when you are used to a king size bed). Saturday we hit the Parks and had dinner with the whole family at the Rain Forest Cafe in Down Town Disney and walked around the shops there. Sunday we all went to the beach, I was so excited because I had only been for like 15 min. in my entire life! We had so much fun riding the waves and playing in the sand. We even saw some Dolphins and they jumped, did filps and showed off for us! That was awsome! Then we went and ate and Mrs. Knotts Restuarant and had the famous chicken dinner. Monday we spent the day in the parks again and got some souviners and some pics! Then the very long drive back home on Tuesday! All in all it was a great vacation! Well here we go again! Weekends alone, none stop talk of deer or elk, and Tyler making his own trail mix! Yup, you guessed it, it is Hunting Season. This last weekend(saturday was the bowhunt opener) we drove down to St. George so Tyler could go hunting with my uncle Brandon and Brandons brother Jeremy. It worked out perfect for me because i got to hang out with my Aunt Kristi and her kids. So while the boys were hunting in Enterprise we went and saw Mama Mia ( which was so Funny), ordered pizza and went to the water park to run around with the kids. When the boys got back from hunting we learned that Jeremy had shot a deer and Tyler just missed one(which her was super bumbed about). Oh well he has a few more weeks to get one with his bow. All in all it was a pretty fun weekend which I can't normally say about a weekend during the hunting season! Here is a picture of Jeremys deer....

Timp Cave

Hey guys, hope everything is going well for everyone. This last saturday me and Tyler took a little trip up American Fork canyon to the timponogus cave. We ended up hiking up to the cave and then going through it. I haven't done that since I was a little girl and it was so fun. It was good just to spend some one on one time with my hubby and get a little exercise at the same time(which I am kinda regretting now because I am walking around like a gimp today because I am so sore!). The cave was awsome to walk through and very cold, but it was all worth it. We had such a great time! Hopefully we can keep doing things like this because I loved it. Love you all have a great day!

Fires at the cabin!

This last summer me and Tyler went up the Grandma and Grandpa Foxs' cabin up in Fairveiw. While up there we helped them cutdown the dead trees and the dead fall and burned them so we could make room for new growth. It was so hot, but so fun just to be up there enjoying the mountains. Grandpa Fox just loves Tyler because he is always willing to help and he is always telling me that I did good in marrying him. I agree! Thanks Tyler for always jumping in and helping!

Yeah! I am figuring out how to run this thing, finally! This is kinda fun. A little bit about what is going on with us. We are now residing in Pleasant Grove. Tyler is still gone all the time even though he is out of school for the summer. Between Alpine gas fireplaces and helping his dad out with the horse and builting new things he is a busy busy bee. As for me I am still working in Provo at the dentist office and just cleaning house and making dinner(most night at least). Thing are going well for us. Any way hopefully things will start slowing down, but knowing life it probably is just going to get busier. Oh Well....what do ya do?......
